Top Open class stayer Eskimo Dan broke the 100 rating status with a tough tenacious win in the 2500m Open Handicap at Moonee Valley on Easter Monday. With Damien Oliver aboard, carrying 58.5kg, Eskimo Dan showed his class by grinding to the line in what was a true staying test. Sitting back in the field, he loomed up to the leaders prior to the home turn and toughed it out with a convincing win.
