Talented stayer Phaze Action has had three runs back this preparation after a spell with one goal in mind.

Although he hasn’t set the world on fire so far, we are confident that he will put his best foot forward this Friday night in the Moonee Valley Night Cup, his final lead up race before the Group 2 $400,000 Adelaide Cup on March 8.

He is finally getting a suitable distance and should be able to settle in a more forward position throughout the race and be strong at the end.  Dwayne Dunn, who guided him to win the Listed Andrew Ramsden Stakes last winter will again take the ride at Moonee Valley.

A forward showing on Friday night will have him spot on for the Adelaide Cup where he will be one of the winning chances.  He is one of the few horses that is proven at the two-mile distance and this is a great advantage.

Good luck to his owners over the coming weeks, Ian MacDonald, Rob Date and Paul Smith.
