Saturday May 15 was a great day for Laming Racing with not one but two feature winners to kick off the Queensland Winter Carnival.  Ringa Ringa Rosie took out the Listed Hampden Stakes and Crossthestart completed a race-to-race double with victory in the Chairmans Handicap.  Both were ridden by Chris Munce who has teamed up with Laming Racing over many years for some great success.  Below are some photos taken on the day, special thanks must go to Dan Costello at justracing.com.au for the great shots.

Ringa Ringa Rosie floating on air as she crosses the winning post.  She will now head towards her main target of the Group 1 TJ Smith Stakes at Eagle Farm on June 12.

The happy connections after Ringa Ringa Rosie’s stunning victory.  Bevan and Chris have shared some great victories over the years including two Brisbane Cups with Desert Chill.  Bevan and Chris are occupied by "the boss" Jenny.

If one wasn’t enough, it only took 40 minutes for Crossthestart to double that tally.  After a daring ride from Chris Munce, Crossthestart proved far too strong for his rivals in the Chairmans Handicap.  He will have one more run before aiming for the Brisbane Cup on June 12.
