Lightly raced five-year-old Indeed I Am made it two wins in a row at Ipswich on Friday with a strong performance.

The son of top sprinter Iglesia, Indeed I Am is starting to make a name for himself over the longer trips and looks to be a handy stayer in the making.

Sent out a well supported favourite, Indeed I Am went forward in the run and when jockey Jim Byrne asked him to go, he certainly did to win by a length and three-quarters.

After eighteen starts, Indeed I Am is starting to build an imposing record. He has finished in the top 2 at 50% of his starts with 3 wins and 6 seconds. After breaking his maiden at start 13, his three wins have now come along quickly.

Indeed I Am is out of the mare Deed Poll who was raced by Laming Racing. His owner Jenny Laming was rapt with the victory and is looking forward to many more in the future. His career prize money now tops the $40,000 mark.

Congratulations to the whole team.
