As we have mentioned in previous articles, one of the joys of the breeding industry is welcoming new foals into the world.

While there aren't many trainers who also dabble in the breeding side of things, Laming Racing have always aimed to retain our well performed mares with the aim of seeing their progeny carry on the winning tradition.

Overall, the operation has been a success, we have bred many winners including Group 3 winner Eskimo Dan and recent winners Cape Silver, Face The Front and Lamichi.

As the foaling season is coming to a close, we recently welcomed back Arctic Silver and her new foal by Not A Single Doubt. Arctic Silver enjoyed a solid racing career, winning 6 races including three at city level, she also placed a further 21 times. Arctic Silver was also bred by Laming Racing, being out of Silver Eskimo, making her a half brother to Eskimo Dan.

This lovely filly (pictured with mum) was born a couple of months ago in the Hunter Valley and is now enjoying a nice big paddock with mum at our Victorian property.

The breeding season will now shift its focus to the upcoming yearling sales which begin early in the new year at the Gold Coast. These highly anticipated sales will see buyers from all over the world searching for the next champion.

Laming Racing will be attending the majority of the sales so please start searching the catalogues and put in your requests. We are more than happy to help.
