Three-year-old Huskisson, scored a maiden win under Ms Laura Lafferty from barrier 5 at skinny odds when competing in familiar surroundings was our latest victor when scoring over 1200m on a soft (7) proved a half length to good in beating home La Zucca (2 nd) with Twotochoose (3rd) mid May, to take the Swiss Ace performer to her first career victory.

Short priced favourite, Excelman took out metropolitan honours under Ms Jamie Kah in scoring in the Emerald Hill Mission (2nd on the card) when chalking up win 3 at start 16 in the 2000m BM84 Hcp worth $74,250 in prizemoney to connections after securing the prize at $2.20 from barrier 3 on the 8th of May at 54kg to deny, Smoken’ Pierro (2nd) from Skelm (3rd) with a time of 2:03.50 recorded.

Three-year-old Chestnut gelding, Sarodec by Kermadec out of a New Zealand Mare in Savabella Rose saw the progeny score win 2 at start 6 at Bool in the Whalers Hotel BM 64 hcp piloted to line honours by Dean Holland at 58.5kg from barrier (1) to score the lions share of the $35K on offer by 1.5 lengths to Fiorente Lass & the topical, Facemask in a race time of 1:46.47 from barrier 1 over 1700m at the juicy odds of $15.00. Sarodec also scored a victory mid June over a mile in great fashion but we will talk more about the win in the June edition.
