Five-year-old Bay gelding, PURE DEAL by Dundeel out of Elegant Attire brought about back to back wins after victory at Sale saw the runner follow that up with a BM64 victory at Cranbourne on August 4 when competing over 2580m scored of the prize under Aaron Lynch.

Leaving barrier 4, and racing prominently Pure Deal started as the race favourite elect and although winning by a narrow margin did enough at start 27 to chalk up win 7 for connections to beat home Tavistock Dancer from Project Gutenberg.

Cecil Street Lad was supported in betting when leaving barriers 6 towards the tail of the field on settling & engaged his presence over the short-course trip to beat home Dare To Share with Mort Doyle the 3rd to arrive in a race time of 59.46 with the last 600m in 35.41 to claim bragging rights.

EDINBURG is a 6-year-old Sebring Mare out of Queens Fashion having exited 9 of 11 and traveled no worse than midfield throughout before engaging the engine to pounce on her competitors, taking all before her to claim Big Darryl from Sacred Cove in a time of 1:38.45 before the meeting was abandoned.

Well done to our winners and numerous placed getters throughout August and it’s good to see REDELLA kick off the month of September with an early stable win at Mornington.
