Laming Racing conducted their Open Day on March 8. The weather was perfect for the day and everyone who attended were very impressed with the facilities we had to show as well as enjoying a great lunch, drink, chat and entertainment. The tours of this magnificent property were very popular. Nearly all 200+ guests were ferried in a mini bus showing the facilities. There certainly was a big wow factor.
As well as showing off the facility, we conducted a Yearling Parade consisting of the yearlings purchased at Karaka, Gold Coast and Melbourne Yearling Sales. There was good interest in the horses we had on offer and we sold a number of shares to interested parties. Guests were also treated to watch and cheer as the stable produced 4 runners on the day creating interest for punters and on-lookers alike. They all ran credible races with Sea Skye winning in a most impressive manner.
All in all, it was a most enjoyable day had by guests, participants and staff.
