With the Queensland Winter Carnival in full swing, Laming Racing will again be represented by two strong chances in feature races at Doomben.
Ringa Ringa Rosie will start close to favourite in the Listed Doomben Slipper over 1350m, while Crossthestart will again be hard to beat in the Group 3 Premier’s Cup over 2200m. Both will be ridden by Chris Munce who partnered each of them to feature race wins a fortnight ago at Doomben.
Our team will also have a number of runners over the weekend in Victoria with the headline act being Sea Skye (pictured) who resumes from a break of almost six weeks.
He has an excellent record when fresh and is looking to continue the trend when he lines up in the CRV Autumn Showcase Final at Cranbourne on Sunday. This race is worth $75,000 and he shapes as a great winning chance. Craig Newitt will take the ride.
